  10. The Music Database replaces the usual selection of one
  11. dozen songs that may be played in the background.  If 
  12. an internal song is to be played through the PC speaker
  13. a menu is displayed of all the Juke boxes available 
  14. (*.JBX).  Then the song categories within the selected 
  15. Jukebox are displayed for selection.  And finally, the 
  16. song list within the category is shown to allow final 
  17. selection of the song to play. Over 30 songs are avail-
  18. able with this version of GEN7 Music Database.  If a 
  19. Sound Blaster compatible card is available (use the /b
  20. option at startup), then *.CMF (Creative Music File) may 
  21. be played.  The driver for the Sound Blaster must be 
  22. loaded (SBFMDRV.COM).  Any CMF file may be selected from 
  23. an open file box (or use the File Finder), and select Play 
  24. a Song from the Music / Voice submenu (or use Ctrl-F7).
  25. If the sound card and driver are installed properly, the
  26. CMF file option will be presented to operator for 
  27. selection.  Over 100 CMF files come with this version of 
  28. the Music Database.  Use the G7SB.BAT file to start GEN7
  29. if output to a sound card is desired.

  31. The songs played to the internal speaker are presented in 
  32. a menu with four categories:

  73. By selecting a song to play, it will play continuously in the 
  74. background until it is stopped, or another song is selected, or
  75. until an external program is executed.  Note that from the 
  76. Desktop (F6) menu, and then from submenu Calendar / Music, the 
  77. currently playing song may be stopped from playing also.

  79. These modules may be integrated into one after registration (one
  80. copy of GEN7 can be used to use either the Tutors or the Accounting or
  81. the Song Data Base).
